Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage on the Soffritto website, operated by Homemade Passion Ltd, 46 Nova Road, Croydon, England, CR0 2TL.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information saved by a website in your browser. Similar technologies, such as session storage, can hold information for a browser tab. Some support essential functions; others measure visits or track people for advertising.

Our current website

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or embedded social feeds on the public website. Fonts and page assets are served from our own website. Visiting a page does not automatically load a Google Maps or social-media embed.

The enquiry form uses a security token and server-side spam protection. Its submission limit is held on the server for one hour, not as an advertising or analytics cookie in your browser.

Functional browser storage

WordPress may use session storage named wpEmojiSettingsSupports to remember whether your browser can display emoji. It stores display-support results, not your enquiry details, and is cleared when the tab’s browsing session ends.

WordPress also uses essential cookies for authorised staff who sign in to administer the site. These include a cookie-support test, authentication cookies and editor preferences. They are not needed for visitors to read our pages or send an enquiry. Authentication cookies end on logout or expiry; choosing “Remember Me” can retain a login for up to 14 days, and editor preference cookies can last up to a year.

Your cookie choices

We use the free Complianz plugin to display our cookie banner and remember your choices. Select “Manage consent” to reopen the controls and change your preferences. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent you from reading the website or sending an enquiry. Functional storage needed for requested features remains enabled.

Complianz uses first-party cookies with names beginning cmplz_, such as cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_policy_id and cmplz_banner-status. These record category choices, the policy version and whether you have dismissed the banner. They do not themselves run analytics or advertising. They are normally retained for up to 365 days, unless you clear them or change your choices.

Currently there is no optional tracking on the public website. If we add it, we will update this policy and configure the relevant scripts so that any requiring consent stay blocked until you choose to allow them. You can withdraw that choice using the consent controls.

Links to other services

If you choose a link to Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps or another external website, that service may use its own cookies when you visit it. Its privacy and cookie notices apply there.

Managing stored information

Your browser settings let you view, block and delete cookies and other site data. Blocking essential cookies may prevent staff login or other requested functions from working. Cookies stored by an older version of this website, including previous consent settings, may remain until they expire or you remove them; the current site does not use the previous consent service to read those preferences.
